Superman vs. The Elite on vuonna 2012 suoraan DVD:lle julkaistu animaatioelokuva. Se perustuu Joe Kellyn käsikirjoittamaan sarjakuvatarinaan What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice and the American Way, joka julkaistiin Action Comics sarjakuvan numerossa 775 vuonna 2001. Kelly myös käsikirjoitti elokuvan tarinan, jonka ohjasi Michael Chang. Elokuvan pääosissa ovat George Newbern, Pauley Perrette ja Robin Atkin Downes.

Superman vs. The Elite on neljästoista perättäinen elokuva Warner Premieren ja Warner Bros. Animationin tuottamista DC universumin alkuperäisistä animaatioelokuvista, jonka aloitti Superman: Doomsday vuonna 2007.

Elokuva julkistettiin 22. heinäkuuta Comic-Con 2011 tapahtumassa, jossa Bruce Timm kertoi vuoden 2012 toisen elokuvan olevan Superman vs. The Elite. Myöhemmin helmikuussa 2012 elokuvan pääosissa kerrottiin olevan aikaisemmin Teräsmiehen roolissa ollut George Newbern ja Pauley Perrette. Myös elokuvan tarina vahvistettiin perustuvan Joe Kellyn käsikirjoittamaan tarinaan "What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice and the American Way", jossa Teräsmies taistelee armotonta ja supervoimia omaavaa ryhmää vastaan nimeltä The Elite.[1]
