Alfred North Whitehead (Ramsgate, 15. 2. 1861. – Cambridge, 30. 12. 1947), britansko-američki filozof, fizičar i matematičar.

Radio je na polju logičke, matematičke i filozofske nauke, te metafizike. Najbolje je poznat po svome radu na Principa Matematica koju je napisao u suradnji s Bertrandom Russellom. Matematikom se pretežno bavio za svoga boravka u Cambridgeu, a nakon što 1924. odlazi na Harvard započinje sa razvojem procesne filozofije (process philosophy). Godine 1927. drži niz predavanja na Univerzitetu u Edinburgu iz kojih nastaje njegovo cijenjeno djelo Proces i Stvarnost (Process and Reality). Unatoč tome što je djelovao na mnogim naučnim poljima i u njima ostavio svoj trag, Whiteheada se smatra jednim od najzanemarivanijih mislilaca 20. vijeka.
