John Maynard Keynes (disebut /ˈkeɪnz/ "keinz") (5 Jun 1883 – 21 April 1946) ialah seorang ahli ekonomi British yang terkenal kerana ekonomi Keynes yang meninggalkan kesan besar dalam teori ekonomi dan politik moden di samping dasar fiskal kerajaan. Beliau mendukung campur tangan dasar kerajaan dalam ekonomi, iaitu kerajaan menggunakan pendekatan fiskal dan kewangan untuk membasmi kesan buruk kemelesetan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Beliau merupakan salah satu bapa teori makroekonomi moden serta dianggap sebagai ahli ekonomi paling berpengaruh pada abad ke-20.[1][2][3]
