Rosa Bonheur
Rosa Bonheur, nama kelahiran Marie-Rosalie Bonheur (16 Maret 1822 – 25 Mei 1899), merupakan seorang seniman Prancis, sebagian besar adalah pelukis fauna (Animalier) tetapi juga pematung, dalam gaya realisme.[1] Lukisannya yang paling terkenal adalah Membajak di Nivernais (dalam bahasa Prancis: Labourage nivernais),[2] yang dipamerkan di Paris Salon pada 1848, dan sekarang berada di Museum Orsay, Paris, dan Pasar kuda (dalam bahasa Prancis: Le marché aux chevaux),[3] yang dipamerkan di Salon pada 1853 (diselesaikan pada 1855) dan sekarang disimpan di Metropolitan Museum of Art, di Kota New York. Bonheur dianggap sebagai pelukis wanita paling terkenal pada abad kesembilan.[4]
