The Unknown Soldier on The Doors -yhtyeen kappale. Se julkaistiin yhtyeen kolmannella studioalbumilla Waiting for the Sun ja singlenä vuonna 1968.

Yhtyeen keulakuva Jim Morrison kirjoitti laulun sanoituksen sen pohjalta, miten oli itse kokenut Vietnamin sodan Yhdysvaltojen tiedotusvälineissä. Kappaleesta julkaistiin myös promootiotarkoituksessa televisioon musiikkivideo, jonka lopussa Morrison ”teloitetaan”.
