De La Soul on yhdysvaltalainen, New Yorkin Long Islandilla perustettu, Grammy-palkittu hip hop -yhtye, joka perustettiin vuonna 1987.

Yhtyeen jäseniin kuuluvat Kelvin Mercer (Posdnuos, Mercenary, Plug Wonder Why, Plug Oneselvennä), David Jude Jolicoeur (Trugoy the Dove, Dave, Plug Twoselvennä) sekä Vincent Mason (P.A. Pasemaster Mase, Maseo, Plug Threeselvennä).

Yhtye on innoittanut monia nykypäivän hip hop -yhtyeitä, esimerkiksi The Black Eyed Peasialähde? ja se edelleen toimii aktiivisesti.

Erityisesti yhtyeen debyyttialbumia 3 Feet High and Rising arvostetaan korkealle hip hop-albumeiden joukossa ja eräs sen singleistä, Me Myself & I oli erittäin suosittu. Vuonna 2010 albumi valittiin mukaan Yhdysvaltain kongressin kirjaston National Recording Registry -kokoelmaan, johon kootaan esteettisesti, historiallisesti tai kulttuurisesti merkittäviä yhdysvaltalaisia äänitteitä.[1]

3 Feet High and Rising, De La Soul Is Dead, Buhloone Mindstate, Stakes Is High, Art Official Intelligence: Mosaic Thump sekä AOI: Bionix ilmestyivät suoratoistopalveluihin 3. maaliskuuta 2023.[2]
