  • Machine translation, like DeepL or Google Translate, is a useful starting point for translations, but translators must revise errors as necessary and confirm that the translation is accurate, rather than simply copy-pasting machine-translated text into the English Wikipedia.
  • Consider adding a topic to this template: there are already 665 articles in the main category, and specifying|topic= will aid in categorization.
  • Do not translate text that appears unreliable or low-quality. If possible, verify the text with references provided in the foreign-language article.
  • You must provide copyright attribution in the edit summary accompanying your translation by providing an interlanguage link to the source of your translation. Normattiva is an Italian government website published on 19 March 2010. It contains the rules of Italian law beginning in 1861.

Institution

The Normattiva was created by two laws:

  • Disposizioni per la formazione del bilancio annuale e pluriennale dello Stato (legge finanziaria 2001) [Disposals for the preparation of the annual and multi-annual State budget (Financial Law 2001)] (law 388, 107) (in Italian). 23 December 2000.
  • Misure urgenti in materia di semplificazione normativa [Urgent Measures about Regulatory Simplification] (law decree 200, 200) (in Italian). 22 December 2008.

These were issued to create a free service for the review of all Italian legislation.[1]
