Matran railway station (French: Gare de Matran, German: Bahnhof Matran) is a railway station in the municipality of Matran, in the Swiss canton of Fribourg. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Lausanne–Bern line of Swiss Federal Railways.[1]

Services

As of the December 2021 timetable change,[update] the following services stop at Matran:[4]

  • RER Fribourg S20 / S21:
    • Weekdays: half-hourly service between Ins and Romont; S20 trains continue to Neuchâtel.
    • Weekends: hourly service between Ins and Romont.
