Kościany [kɔɕˈt͡ɕanɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szczytniki, within Kalisz County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Szczytniki, 23 km (14 mi) east of Kalisz, and 127 km (79 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań.

It has a population of 55 people and an area of 0.241 square kilometers.[2]
