History
Central Coast Media Education Foundation founded KPCR-LP in 2019. The station's inception aimed to carry the mission of Pirate Cat Radio and provide a platform for local artists, musicians, and community members to share their talents and voices. Originally based in Santa Cruz, KPCR-LP moved to Los Gatos in December of 2023.
