Al-Ghat (Arabic: الغاط), also Alghat, El-Ghat or Elghat, is a small town in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. It is located 230 kilometres (140 mi) by road northwest of Riyadh.[1] As of the 2016 census it had a population of 16500 people.[2]
A joint Saudi-Belgian Mission (2013–14) confirmed the archaeological, epigraphic and historic high potential of the Al-Ghat region.
